Character Art (OOC)

 The mighty DM told us to ponder what we would want to do at level 4 in preparation for the November session.  Hopping onto DNDB, I opened my character sheet and immediately fell down a rabbit hole.  Who cares about level 4 when we should be exploring new character art icons?  Specifically, animated gifs for my bard!  The 8-bit beach dude was the obvious winner for me.


As an aside, Lleyash quickly got into the fun and his may be even better. 

In related news, I need to remember to ask the crew if they have a good piece or two of reference art on how they really see their characters.  I'd provided the artist with some images as well as physical write ups

  Hello, fellow Wizlards.   It is I, the crooner of Faer’uner.   The singer with the thinger.   We’re still workshopping. I was sitting down last night to another meal with Maura on the Chaser – some rabbit stew – and could not stop the laughing.   Remember when Ellie and Lleyash squared off against a room full of delightful but rabid zombie critters?   Perhaps right after finding my long lost daughter, this was a high point.   And I wasn’t even there.   Just like I wasn’t there for Maura, but that’s another story (that I’ll be publishing in Baldur’s Gate Press “Deadbeat or Funky Beat: the Price of Stardom”). OBX 2024

  The 2024 OBX sojourn was marked by an epic showdown against a legendary foe.  It was also marked by the mighty Wizlards battling the evil forces of COVID using an impressive arsenal of pluck and hand sanitizer. As it turns out, COVID is a CR23 BBEG who is resistant to both pluck and sanitizer.  At the time of this post, 3 out of 5 Wizlards now recommend COVID to their patients who chew gum. Still, we came and saw and surprisingly conquered.  While all of our sports teams were disappointments, this session will long be remembered as a fittingly heroic climax to an amazing adventure almost three years in the making.  We fought horny blue dragons and gargantuan kraken.  Some of us ate salad on only three of us died in the final battle.  These two are probably unrelated. After resting the night in the old mountain mystery of Lilly’s the party teleported back to Ascension Isle and as they faded away saw a blue dragon erupting from the floor of the place where Lilly’s constructs were. They ended up outside one of the pirate’s houses and while stealthing around the house they saw what looked like mechanical constructs and the Duke searching the upper level for them. After some debate over whether to get back to the ship or to eliminate the threat they chose to engage the duke and the automatons. The battle was fought, and the foe was eliminated without anyone escaping to alert the rest of the town. They overheard the duke and his first mate discussing before the battle that Jon Bovi was going to get the horse and circle the island to find the intruder’s ship. An ingenious plan was hatched instead of retreating to the ship that they would teleport inside the steel horse and blow up the powder magazine to incapacitate the ship. Leyash teleported inside the
